PATTY CH.A.: It is a mystical and very beautiful place. Our Peru 100pre has something that surprises us.I recommend that you go and remember that every day we learn something 100pre.
Ornella: Da vedere assolutamente. Oltre alla Vergine, molti manufatti perfettamente conservati.Ottima guida.

Neshama Rakofsky: Definitely recommend this tour. We did the tour in English with a fantastic guide named Maria. Super interesting artifacts and the stories are just incredible. Maria was so knowledgeable and welcoming of questions, she is so passionate about the information it's more like listening to a story than to a guided museum tour. The whole thing only takes about 45 mins. I'm not generally a tour OR museum person, but I actually enjoyed this. Great experience
María Luz Marín: I loved the detailed and precise information from the guide. We learned a lot about child sacrifice in ancient Peru and the circumstances in which Juanita was found. A recommendation, the place is kept cold to preserve the archaeological remains and even more so in the section where Juanita is. Bring something to cover yourself with. It is forbidden to take photos or record videos inside the exhibition halls.
Gomez Addams: Only let you enter if you sign up for a guided tour which I was uninterested in. For such a small museum it hardly seems necessary. So, no, I’ll pass.
María Belén Chipana: Excellent! 5 national soles, over five years old pay 3 soles for the entrance and voluntary tip to the guide. Everything on display is original and we were lucky to see the Juanita mummy. Can't take photos
mahdy faiz: The museum is small but have one mummy and only few things worth seeing. However, you can only visit with a guide (additional fee on top of the 25 sol entrance). The guided tour feels rushed and you cannot always hear the guide well enough. Not worth the time nor money
Luke Costa: A lot of negative reviews on here regarding the cost etc which almost made us not go. However, we are glad we did.Firstly, the reason it's cheaper for Peruvians is because it's their heritage, and its only right that its cheaper for them.Secondly, we were sceptical about the guide, however it really enhanced the experience. They covered all the areas of information that were written around artefacts and also gave additional info. The tip is at your discretion as well.Would 100% recommend, incredibly interesting and informative.
Pascal Burgard: Expensive relative to the wealth of information provided. I really expected to learn much more in this museum.
Mark Webster: Really disappointing. As mentioned in other reviews it’s compulsory to have a guided tour. When we arrived and were told this we politely asked if we could go around without a guide. The man in the desk immediately ignored us and started talking to another couple behind us. Incredibly rude. Half the tour is a 20min video with terrible sound quality. The guided tour was rushed and ruined the experience.Note that the museum is sponsored by the Catholic university and is therefore biased. We recommend doing some Quechua guided tours to get the real local history before attending.
Randall Marx: Great place to visit if you have interest in archaeology or Incan culture. They offer tours in English and SpanishVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Edwin Aparicio: Visit the mummy Juanita
Juan Carlos Medina: Nice museum of the Santa María Catholic University, small but very interesting, the museum staff is super attentive and helpful, the guide is very charismatic and knowledgeable about the subject. Seeing the lady of Ampato is an incredible experience, it is worth the trip! The entrance for nationals is 5 soles. One block from the main square of Arequipa. Go on your visit to this beautiful city. Highly recommended!
Zoltán Király: Huanitát mindenképp érdemes megnézni ha valaki Arequipába látogat

Belissa Salinas Najarro: Highly recommended, the place is adapted in a very suitable way so that optimal conservation is achieved.

Sour: Good place and the guide is very friendly, only he asks you for a tip, instead of being something voluntary.

Casa Museo Mario Vargas Llosa: what do users think?
Agustín López Daneri: The hours are wrong, they say they close at 3:00 p.m., but if you go at 2:30 p.m. they don't serve you anymore
Ornella: Museo interattivo. Interamente in spagnolo, ma si capisce.
Cecilia Quiroz Dueñas: The house is beautiful, there are spaces that need maintenance, a paint touch-up. The visit is quite enjoyable with the videos and holograms. The free visit that I attended, poorly organized, they called us at 10 and it started almost at 11.One of the ladies in charge, I think she is regional government staff, complained about the number of people making us feel uncomfortable. These types of actions are out of place, if there is a problem and attention must be drawn, it must be done internally and not involve visitors or tourists.
María Belén Chipana: Very nice, they don't work weekends.Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended No …More

Guilherme R: There is very little information online, only that it closes at 4 pm. We arrived at 3.01 pm. The gates were locked. They accepted our entrance as they saw we were foreigners. It all seemed very improvised. They dont provide change. Do not waste your time.
Manuel Felipe Diaz Sandoval: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended NoMore
Jose Corrales: 100% recommended 👍🏽
Victor Rivas: oh nice I recommend it, it is an inevitable place on your visit to Arequipa.
Miguel Pacheco: We went with my family to see the museum, when we arrived the doorman asked us where do they come from? I replied: from Lima, and he replied: oh then there is no service. we couldn't get in
Jorge Alberto Ocaña Diaz: A museum that I recommend.
Fanny Yuliana Chuquilin Castañeda: Awesome themed and interactive place with interesting and nostalgic information.
Mimi Amaru Illari: A museum that interacts with you. It is divided into several rooms that represent stages of the writer's life. The funny thing is that MVLL was born and lived in this house for only one year. In each room there is an audiovisual presentation accompanied by the interpretation of the guide, which was great. He explained everything to us in detail and clarity and with a lot of enthusiasm, which makes the visit even more pleasant. He took photos of us and encouraged us to interact with the space. The entrance costs 20 soles per person and from my own experience I can say that it is worth it. There you live a unique experience. I recommend it to each individual interested in the author, his life and work, but also to each one who wants to know more about Arequipa's history.
Pixelsoft José Montoya: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sureMore
Flavio Andre Garces Heredia: I would like to write a fuller review of the experience of going to the museum, but the terrible attitude of the reception of the museum was enough to convince me not to invest my time in learning more about one of my favorite authors.
Erita Mostacero: Excellent representation of the life of Mario Vargas Llosa.
Mildred Gallegos: Interactive museum, the setting and the stories transport you to each of the stages of Mario Vargas Llosa's life... the entire tour with the explanations lasts a little over an hour... I loved being able to take time to visit it . Entry costs/20
Lucina Váquez Miranda: It's wonderful ooooo I wish I had more support from the government. It is unmissable.

Elfer Antonio Paredes Valera: Very excellent.
Juan Pelayo Solis: Knowing the Municipal Historical Museum "Guillermo Zegarra Meneses" is especially important for all Peruvians, even more so for Arequipeños, ladies and men and of all social conditions, because here you will know the history of its characters, historical events through time , those who made our city great, unique and worthy; and, you will have the certainty and firmness of feeling that you are Arequipeño, with children born at the foot of the Misti, in addition to being Peruvian.Let us value the immense legacy of those distinguished Arequipeños and Peruvians, spreading their traditions, promoting culture, caring for their monuments and conserving it as Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Museo Arqueológico UNSA: what do users think?
Patricia Zegarra: Very cute, interesting. I recommend it. The entrance fee is accessible to EVERYONE. Maybe the schedule because it was until 3.30 and I had to fly after school. RECOMMENDED for schools.
Diana Alburqueque: Recommendable.I suggest attending if they add activities. ✅
Edith R Piñas Villalobos: The mummies are well preserved, Daniela's guidance is very good. There are several findings in ceramics, cave paintings, stones and mummies found in the Arequipeño territory.
Bernardo Rivera: good museum
José Fernando Villanueva Hidalgo: Museum dedicated to the history of the Arequipa region and located in a colonial mansion. You will get to know pre-Inca cultures forgotten by the school books that developed in this territory. It has several pieces, mostly ceramics, textiles and instruments. The main samples are three mummies. It also has a colonial-republican room. The setting is well organized but a certain lack of budget and the limitations of the colonial environment are noted a little.
Herbert Tanta Tanta: The museum is closed, it is attending
Rosalynn Mundaca: Beautiful venue. Not all rooms are available. However, in each room there is a different sample. All interesting. It's a pity that the cafe is still closed due to protocol implementation issues.
Isabo Ortiz: Beautiful !!! 5 soles the entrance
Holger Nieto: Brilliant...
Jack Anderson Armendariz Paredes: The Museum is quite interesting, you have rooms arranged temporarily, the items on display are unique.
Juan Felipe Quiñonez: see and nice
Agustin Segura: Good museum, only 5 soles to enter. You have to visit it yes or yes on your way through Arequipa. The effort to preserve all the pieces that are shown is felt with the dedication of the workers and guide of the museum. You can see a review of our history in its different periods of Peruvian culture and the best are the very well preserved mummies. Two things to highlight. A worker never introduced herself as a guide but her explanation was very didactic. On the other hand, the facilities are very clean and the hygienic services are impeccable. The bad thing, just to put something but understandable due to the position of the museum, is that you cannot take photos of the rooms. One wants to take a souvenir but the security of the sample is worth it.My 5 star rating goes.
Yuri Zambrano: Small exhibition, admission to five soles adult, schoolchildren pay 2 soles. They don't let you take pictures, it has three well-preserved mummies. The house has a central patio with typical architecture of the historic center. It is part of the route, but I do not consider it a mandatory stop, it depends on tastes.
Ernesto Berrocal: Interesting place and it's cheap. You also learn about different cultures that inhabited Arequipa
Nikolas Wood: It’s a very short museum, maybe 15 minutes or so, but it has some neat artifacts and some beautifully preserved mummies. Visit is only 5 soles ($1.50ish) and I enjoyed it well worth that. My only problem is that there was not much information in english (or Spanish, for that matter) and I didn’t see anywhere to get a guide- but I also didn’t ask. This little museum is definitely worth a visit!
gloria alvez: Very good museum!
Luis Cofré García: Small but with a varied collection
juan jose torres apaza: Beautiful
Yohanna Angélica Cánepa Cornejo: Excellent place to learn more about Peruvian culture, very good exhibition. Highly recommended.
Gales Dominguez Bacilio: very beneficial

I was here in total for about 45 minutes.
