Karl Schmiedel: Very nice place to enjoy a cocktail and the sunset - might really be the best of rooftop bars that I’ve visited in Arequipa. Located on top of hotel “le foyer”.Can only recommend the pisco sour workshops in the afternoon. Very friendly team, a variety of flavors which they steep into the pisco themselves. My favorite is the maracuya and sancaya, the latter also known as colca sour. Special thanks to Lisbeth for the insights into pisco culture!

ROSMARY MT: Nice place but with poor preparation of drinks, the first time I went years ago everything was fine, I went recently at the end of October 2022 bad attention, I asked for a natural prepared juice, not frozen, and they brought me frozen juice around 6 in the afternoon when the wind was blowing, I ordered with three fruits, and they brought me a totally unpleasant bland juice, which I took because of how EXPENSIVE it was, I thought I would receive something good but no, they didn't even bring me a napkin and to top it all off highs when paying the waiter asks me if I want to leave a tip, how am I going to leave a tip for bad service and even worse that juice they gave me was totally unpleasant, it looked like dishwashing water, another thing that disappointed me is the music pure boisterous vallenato , at least if it's a restaurant it has to have music according to the place, TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! EXPENSIVE AND ON TOP OF BAD PREPARATION, I HOPE THEY CHANGE THEIR CHEF AND BARTENDER OR TRAIN THEM TO IMPROVE BECAUSE WE ARE IN A TOURIST CITY AND THE TRUTH ONE AS A TOURIST GETS A BAD IMPRESSION BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU TRY.

Julio Escobar: Decepcionante frente a tan imponente nombre. Si bien el lugar es bonito y cómodo y la atención de una de las garzonas fue muy buena, y la comida estaba muy rica. Pero a lo que fuimos, que fue a probar tragos del MUSEO DEL PISCO! Fue una total decepción, tuvimos que pedir que nos corrigieran 4 tragos, por que al barman se le olvido colocar la goma en los tragos, por lo que la experiencia fue malísima. No lo recomiendo para nada!!

La musique est très forte, impossible de pouvoir discuter tranquillement sans devoir nous hurler dessus.Les cocktails sont beaux, mais très sucrés et très très chers. Comptez environ 20 minutes d'attente au minimum.Pour la nourriture, nous avons attendu près de deux heures nos plats, pour 30 minutes annoncées : sans saveur, viande trop cuite et trop sèche, beaucoup de plats indisponibles. L'un de nous n'a même pas été servi, on suppose qu'ils ont oublié. Nous avons été prévenu environ 40 minutes après le passage de notre commande que certains plats ne pouvaient être réalisés.À peine servis, on nous presse de terminer : le bar va fermer. La note est salée, et le ticket de caisse n'était pas le bon. Aucun geste commercial n'a été appliqué. Une expérience très décevante.Passez votre chemin, vous trouverez bien meilleur et beaucoup moins cher ailleurs !

We learned a lot, the amount of things you do in the time you have is such good value for money, plus you get a little bag of chocolates to take away. I absolutely loved the workshop. Jonathan Anderson: Firstly, there is good music and a decent selection of beers but the service and organisation are awful. Four of us went for food and drink and we were put on a table in the back next to a toilet. We only got given one menu for four people. They forgot about us so we had to go and ask them to take our order and were told we had to order at the bar which was not mentioned before. As this was a craft beer bar I asked for a beer menu and I was told they did not have one (in my way out the manager later said they did have one). Some are shown on the TV but there are dozens in the fridge . The roof leaks so there was lots of water on the floor and I nearly slipped and broke my leg. The women at the bar were not very friendly and serving people out of order. Bizarrely for a beer bar they do not offer flights/paddles or any different sizes of beer except a large. We decided to leave without buying any beer. Unfortunately a couple of us had already ordered food so took it to go. I would strongly recommend going to nearby Barbarian or Nowhere instead. Service is much better, you can get different sizes of beers and you can see clearly what is on offer.

Manly Matt Schulman: Highly recommended. Although almost every hotel we stayed in on our Peru trip was a Casa Andina property, this was the best of them. The location is close enough to the center of town to be easily walkable, but out of its busiest area. It is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff was helpful and polite. As a side note, we came with rudimentary Spanish, but didn't need it here -- the staff's English was far better than our Spanish. The breakfast was impressive, even including a pleasant performance by a local musician. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and they even included a little nosh as a treat for our anniversary. Certainly a fine place to stay when you visit Arequipa.

Stev: During my stay the food was very good but the service could be a lot improved.We arrived around 6pm and although it was cold we could not sit inside. This is only possible as of 7pm. I was freezing. They did not use the heating bulbs. Service was taking a long time to take our order, although our drinks were empty they never offered a re-order. Also they never asked us whether everything was good, also not when we paid. Seemed very inattentive to us as customers overall. Besides that, a great place. The recipes are superb.

Timothy J Sayer: I found this a little disappointing for a few reasons.Having not been able to get in to the Lima restaurant, I was keen to come here and try some of Gaston's food.The chupe Andino was nice and had pops of flavour that I enjoyed, having not had anything similar before. I had no serviettes or cutlery apart from a spoon to eat the corn with which was a hassle.I then had the pulpo a la brasa, and I honestly can't understand why this had no flavour, even with olives and capers in the dish. The chimichurri had zero flavour which I don't understand how that's even possible and if I was blindfolded, I would never have guessed that the octopus was grilled. It was sadly an oily, flavourless dish.My side plate, bread basket and butter still remained after the main was cleared even though I'd finished before the starter arrived. I also waited to be offered deserts but the offer didn't come.I so wanted to have a great experience here, but sadly I didn't.
