    Dan Rowe: I moved to Arequipa at the beginning of January 2013, since then I have taken Spanish classes at three different institutes. I always found them to be a chore and a necessity that had to be done. That was until I started having lessons at Cepesma Idiomas in December 2013.Cecilia, through her teaching, has somehow made my Spanish lessons to be one of the highlights of my week and something that I look forward to going to. As a result my Spanish has improved tenfold.At other institutes I was just inundated with sheets of paper that had rules and exercises but with Cecilia, she makes sure that you really understand and always has a different exercise waiting if your attention starts to waiver.I cannot recommend Cepesma Idiomas enough and believe it will be one of the best decisions you make on your trip to Arequipa.Cepesma Idiomas also offer home stays, even though I have not stayed there personally, I have seen the accommodation and it looks very nice and what better way to improve your Spanish than staying with a Peruvian family.If you're thinking of taking Spanish lessons in Peru, head to Cepesma Idiomas!

    Elvis ra: I recommend the academy, I liked the methodology. Personalized classes of one student per class make progress progressive and adaptive.
    Fabiola Erika N煤帽ez Alanya: Personalized academy, one student per shift. Real and accurate learning about music and singing. Of course, it is advisable to pay close attention and write down everything that is done in class because the information, both theoretical and practical, demystifies many absurd beliefs about singing. I recommend being predisposed and open to receiving new knowledge that is justified and based on scientific evidence. If you are looking for a conventional academy, where they make you warm up your voice with YouTube videos, teach you to whistle, teach you to sing "with your stomach", and other sophistry related to singing; this is NOT your opportunity, so waste it.

    Angela Gamboa: Terrible attention, I asked for the price of the singing classes and they never gave it to me, they answered me with anything except the price and a few days later they answered that they had already taken the last quota, when I asked many days before. Appalling.

    Leah Parry: I spent a week learning Spanish with Milagros, and I learnt a lot with her in a short time. We met in cafes across Arequipa, which was great to see the city. I would definitely recommend classes with Milagros!
    Danny Courtis: I took one to one Spanish classes with Milagros. She was very patient with me and my level of Spanish improved a lot. She has a passion for teaching and clearly wanted me to succeed. She has a warm and easy going personality. I highly recommend her.
    The Chan: I did three weeks of Spanish lessons with Milagros and would highly recommend her Spanish school. She is very patient and was adept at teaching Spanish grammar. Milagros spoke very good English which really helped when I couldn't understand something in Spanish. And great value! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the lessons and learned a lot during this two weeks! Furthermore, Milagros is a very nice person and we enjoyed drinking a beer with her after the classes. She was flexible and came to our appartement to give the lessons, something we really appreciated.After the two weeks we feel more confident with our Spanish and are way more capable of of making ourselves understandable, as well as understanding others.

From then on I was able to speak with people on my further travel. Milagros has a very good way of teaching and she adjusts it to your wishes. I tried an other Spanish school but ended up here because the teaching was much better.
    Bear Brown: When I first came to Arequipa I studied in Arequipa Spanish School. I took 6 weeks of private classes for 4 hours per day. My teacher Milagros was lovely - very enthusiastic and committed to helping me learn. By the time I finished, I was able to learn pretty much all the Spanish grammar which really helped me in my onward travels. Arequipa is a great place to learn Spanish because it's safe and has a very nice climate - warm and dry - highly recommended.

The lessons are totally tailored to your needs and we were taught in the garden which beat any classroom! All the staff were incredibly welcoming and encouraged all the students to get to know each other and practice Spanish together during breaks and activities. Can't recommend it enough!"

They genuinely want to help you learn and improve your speaking, listening, reading and comprehension of Spanish. Karla was professional, understanding, grounded yet open to a good laugh while exercising her modalities of teaching. Definitely, I felt at home with Carmen and Sofia because they both shared parenting qualities which demonstrated that they wanted the best for me during my time avaliable to learn. It is a warm and comfortable environment (the classes are held outside in a pleasant garden) and the class time flies by quickly. My teacher Ada was very helpful and extremely patient as I worked to improve my basic understanding of Spanish. She was very creative in applying various teaching styles and practices as she pushed me to improve my spanish vocabulary and communication skills beyond the beginner level. It is surprising the amount of progress one can make in a small amount of time while attending the school.

    Jamie T: I had a wonderful experience at CEICA Peru Spanish Language School! It is run by a lovely family who made me feel like part of the family. All the classes are one-on-one and the teachers I had were professional, kind, and made the lessons fun. I signed up for a program where my teacher also guided me through town every afternoon to see the historical sites and learn about Peruvian and Arequipan culture. Sofia, who runs the school, also made all the arrangements for trips to Colca Canyon and Lake Titicaca. I chose to live at the school, where I had a nice suite. Another student lived with a local family. Sofia will arrange whatever accommodations you prefer. I was traveling alone, but didn't feel alone once I arrived at the school. I highly recommend CEiCA Peru!

Der Unterricht fand im gut gepflegten Garten im Innenhof statt. Emilio hat den Unterricht auf mich individuell angepasst und ist sehr systematisch vorgegangen. Er hat das Maximum aus mir herausgeholt. Auch das Backoffice unterst眉tzt einen, wenn n枚tig. Den Unterricht in Ceica und speziell mit Emilio kann ich sehr empfehlen.
    Rory White: I spent a week and a half at Ceica Peru and had a great time. The classes were 1 on 1 and my teacher was extremely helpful so my Spanish improved a lot. Everything was very well organised and the service was brilliant. The accommodation was great and in a good location for shops and not far from the centre. And if I ever needed anything e.g. a taxi or medicine, then Sofia was always there to help. I can't recommend Ceica Peru enough.

Ich habe mich super wohl gef眉hlt und viel Spa脽 beim Lernen mit meiner Lehrerin Claudia gehabt. Es war eine tolle Zeit, ich habe viel gelernt und auf meine individuellen Bed眉rfnisse konnte Claudia jeder Zeit super eingehen. Der Unterricht fand auf Grund des sch枚nen Wetters im schattigen Garten statt, was die lockere Atmosph盲re noch unterstrichen hat und ich mich nicht in meine Schulzeit zur眉ckversetzt gef眉hlt hatte, wo man bei jeder Nachfrage des Lehrers halb unter dem Tisch verschwunden ist, um ja nicht dran zu kommen. Ich kann die Schule nur jedem empfehlen. Auch Sofia, die alles super organisiert hat, war sehr nett. Rund um zufrieden. Nun hei脽t es f眉r mich weiter 眉ben 眉ben 眉ben und die gelernten Grundstrukturen festigen.
    Melissa Rogan: I spent 3 weeks studying basic / intermediate spanish here in feb 2020 whilst staying with a host family organised by the school. I cannot rate this school highly enough. The staff and teachers were incredibly accommodating, in that I was able to go through the material at my pace and focus on improving my conversational skills. My lessons each day were conducted one on one in the lovely garden, with the occasional hummingbird dropping by.My host family were lovely and I was able to spend breakfasts and dinners at the table with the family immersing myself in Spanish conversation. Both the school and the homestay in Cayma were a comfortable walking distance (20 minutes) from each other and the main town centre.Would highly recommend to anyone 馃槉Y gracias de nuevo CEICA por la maravillosa experiencia, ahora yo sue帽o en espa帽ol 馃槉
    j眉rgen barthelmes: in february 2020 i spent three weeks at the Ceica language school. initially i only wanted to take a two weeks course. but i enjoyed it so much, that i decided to stay longer.it was obvious that my profesora had a lot of experience with language students, she was able to make difficult contents entertaining for me and the time passed by quickly.i never had the feeling of pressure or that i felt stupid.the textbook was accompanied by short stories, that were really interesting and gave you additional views on latinamerican culture.the lessons generally take place in the garden behind the building. it is quiet there except for the birds (i.e. colibris) that come to visit the garden.i can definitely recommend this school.j眉rgen barthelmes

She kept me focused, interested, and speaking constantly without ever feeling embarrassed by messing up or saying something wrong.
