    Stev: During my stay the food was very good but the service could be a lot improved.We arrived around 6pm and although it was cold we could not sit inside. This is only possible as of 7pm. I was freezing. They did not use the heating bulbs. Service was taking a long time to take our order, although our drinks were empty they never offered a re-order. Also they never asked us whether everything was good, also not when we paid. Seemed very inattentive to us as customers overall. Besides that, a great place. The recipes are superb.

    Timothy J Sayer: I found this a little disappointing for a few reasons.Having not been able to get in to the Lima restaurant, I was keen to come here and try some of Gaston's food.The chupe Andino was nice and had pops of flavour that I enjoyed, having not had anything similar before. I had no serviettes or cutlery apart from a spoon to eat the corn with which was a hassle.I then had the pulpo a la brasa, and I honestly can't understand why this had no flavour, even with olives and capers in the dish. The chimichurri had zero flavour which I don't understand how that's even possible and if I was blindfolded, I would never have guessed that the octopus was grilled. It was sadly an oily, flavourless dish.My side plate, bread basket and butter still remained after the main was cleared even though I'd finished before the starter arrived. I also waited to be offered deserts but the offer didn't come.I so wanted to have a great experience here, but sadly I didn't.
    Luke Costa: We were literally just looking to try chicha de guiñapo, a fermented purple corn drink that only comes from Arequipa, and this was one of the only places we could find that sold it.Although more of a restaurant, the staff allowed us to sit at the bar whilst then providing us a complimentary selection of local breads and butters. Excellent hospitality and a beautiful restaurant.

    Manly Matt Schulman: Highly recommended. Although almost every hotel we stayed in on our Peru trip was a Casa Andina property, this was the best of them. The location is close enough to the center of town to be easily walkable, but out of its busiest area. It is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff was helpful and polite. As a side note, we came with rudimentary Spanish, but didn't need it here -- the staff's English was far better than our Spanish. The breakfast was impressive, even including a pleasant performance by a local musician. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and they even included a little nosh as a treat for our anniversary. Certainly a fine place to stay when you visit Arequipa.

    Alisson sz: I wish I had read all the reviews before buying. I ordered a minute soup and it was pure salt. The saltiest thing I've ever eaten in my life! It had no flavor it was just pure salt and pepper. Horrible presentation. They gave me the taper all dripped with the lid sunk. Such a simple dish to make and poorly done. If they don't know how to do something so basic, I don't want to imagine the rest of the meals.
    Amelia Madrid: TERRIBLE SERVICE. Yesterday my husband ordered and we had to cancel because he asked for a delay of more than 90 minutes. Today we insisted again and asked for a "chicken" diet, each plate came with an infinite number of celery and carrots, 2 potatoes and 3 tiny pieces of chicken and literally 4 noodles. The truth is that if they cannot supply your demand then they better stop taking orders.

Definitely!Super recommended. Perhaps the place is not so colorful in terms of interior but I assure you that you will not regret it.
