The views are impressive: volcanoes, llamas and vicuñas... breathtaking.Since we were doing a bus tour, we didn't really trek around the park, just small walks. But think about good trekking shoes if you're spending time there. And also, beware of the heights!

    Keith Stevens: This is a nice place to spend a day with the family only a short way outside the city. It has terraces where there are barbecues that you can rent your space with large picnic benches with screen roofs that can seat about 8 people easily. The staff are on hand to bring more chairs and use pallets to provide small extra tables if required. The staff are exceptionally polite. There are clean toilet and hand washing facilities. It has a area of animals with ducks, guinea pigs, rabbit and a pair of vicuna that the staff will show you . For about $40 for the whole day its a great value. Also a trampoline and great country views across the valley of terraced landscape.

    Francesco Giardina: Centrally located (5 minutes by foot to Plaza de Armas) but still far enough from the noisy and most touristy area. The staff was AMAZING, super available for questions and explain you the points of interest in Arequipa.The terrace had a beautiful view over thevolcanoes. I really felt at home here! Theshower had plenty of hot water (even for the sink!) and the bed was super comfortable and warm. I definitely recommend!

Die Dame am Empfang ist keine Gastgeberin, bei Frühstück geizig. Fehlendes WC Papier, Schlüsselloch...Aber ein eigentlich schönes Haus mit antiken Zimmern, gute Dusche und super Dachterrasse. Gute Lage, wenn auch unsere zwei Zimmer zur Strasse hin (zu) laut waren.Schaltet zwei Gänge höher und macht ein gutes Hostal daraus!
