Carmen Alto viewpoint: what do users think?
NELSON RAMIREZ: A very small place does not offer much, they charge you 5 soles and you can go through it in a minute.
Guido Sifuentes: Excellent!!
Milagros Cunya: It has a nice view but it has nothing else interesting, for buying the ticket they give you a small bottle of water as a courtesy
Johnny Correa: Place to see the mummy PepitaVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Helbert O: Good view
Elba Villanueva: A very nice view, admission is from 10 am to 4:30 pm and its cost is S/5 soles per person, which also entitles you to receive a free bottle of San Carlos water. The viewpoint is not a very large space but there are two small restaurants, one quite elegant for the place, it also has an area with free chairs and tables.Clean restrooms, free parking area.A nice place.
wilder bedoya: A spectacular view!!!
Nadya Kelly Puma Quispe: He charged us 5 soles for the entrance, we entered, he gave us a ticket saying that they would give us water... as soon as we entered and they closed the kiosk, they did not give us.
Christian Salvatierra Ramos: Nice view of the valley, the entrance costs 8 soles but you have beautiful places for good photos, I went at 10 am and beautiful photos were captured
Jhon Franky Bernedo Gonzales: should have more trash cans
Juan Mejía: Cool with various activities to do
Lourdes Sierra: excellent view
Hugo Romero: Excellent view of the volcanoes and the Chilina valley, also excellent canopy and swing service, very good extreme sports
Enrique Vega Marisca: Good view of the city and the misti
Luis RODRI GUEZ: Tourist place of beautiful landscape good view of the misti

Museo de Arqueologia de la UCSM: what do users think?
YANETH PINTO: Very organized and above all, share a moment with the family.
Stefany Bravo: IS CLOSED!! The museum no longer exists :(
Steven Danks: Really interesting with excellent descriptions of artifacts and history.
Hernán Mandel: It is closed until indefinite time.
Laynes durand sanchez: This museum is closed for administrative reasons
Diana Silva Ruiz: It is a small museum but full of information and I was impressed with the objects that they have on display. The entrance is totally free and you can make donations at the exit to continue preserving the premises. I took some photos WITHOUT FLASH and I share them so you can see that it is interesting to walk around here, especially because it is Peruvian culture and it costs nothing 🙌❤️
Helen Perea: Small, with very good pieces.
David C: Interesting small museum. Very quiet, we were the only people in the building when we visited.
Ana Laura Huaraz Ortiz: The environment is adequate, the video presentation super useful. Worth a visit
James ZD: A very nice little museum!
luisaaa: The place is poorly maintained, they treated us very badly, the "guide" was very angry and wanted us to leave the place ... I do not recommend it
Nikolas Wood: Great little museum! For some reason it was free, not sure if it always is, but I left a donation in return. Tons of artifacts and mummies. Unfortunately not much english information but I really enjoyed walking through.
Deych: Interesting, a good place to learn some culture
Renato Fabricio Medina Quiroz: Very well maintained museum and seeing the mummy Juanita is surprising as well as all the archaeological material basically from the province of Arequipa a beautiful place to visit no photos allowed
Trine Lise Holm: It was cheaper than the museum where Juanita is, and they have three mummies even older than Inca. We got a great tour in Spanish.
Anthony “Manthony” Velasquez Tineo: Good coin display.
Joel Ortiz: Small however very interesting the cost of entry is the will of each visitor
Eduardo Avalos - Grupo Vivargo SAC: good place to visit
Andres Valencia: It is only open until 3:00 pm, not until 5 as the website indicates
Allenby Caiña: It is a very neglected little university museum that gives a quick insight into the pre-Inca cultures located in Arequipa. Admission is free, although at the end of the visit you have the option to "donate" whatever you like for their "sustenance". The only security is a private guard and they have no guide. The presentations are based on some mummies, ceramic vessels and some other tools.
David Ka: Bien sans être extraordinaire

REPRESENTACIONES DLG: Very congested, heavy public transport but

Erimar Canvar: Beautiful view
Roysi Fredy Arizaca Claros: Place that has a very nice view of the landscape
Patricia C: Good place to walk and see a part of the city
Yuri Manrique: The best, for years I visit Arequipa and I always walk through the Grau Bridge, architecture of yesteryear, flagship bridge of the result of volcanic lava. The so-called ashlar. Hand carved stone.

Miguel Angel Alvarez: The Monastery keeps a part of the history of Arequipa from the viceregal era until the previous century, you can appreciate what the life of the religious women of that time was like. The buildings, paintings and objects are of high historical value, pride for the Arequipeños and Peruvians who have visited
Andrew Betts: Superbly preserved, and well explained in Spanish and English throughout. Took us 90 minutes, self guided. Huge.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Philip Attukadavil: A wonderful must see place in Arequipa. An ancient but elegant monument, worth visiting. One of my favorite places in Arequipa
Manuel Martin: Must visit if you are in Arequipa
Warthongful: It was going back in time with spectacular views
German Jesus Zapata: If or if take some time to visit this place.
JANNE POVIS: !! Y sacas buenas fotitos de recuerdo !!!(Translated by Google
Piero Alarcon: Spectacular!! As everyone says, if you go to Arequipa this is a point that you should go to anyway!
Ornella: Molto suggestivo.
Daniela Diazgranados Ortiz: Beautiful place full of stories and culture, the only bad thing was that a guide was not very friendly, so we decided to do the tour without a guide
Senna: A great way to spend a few hours of your day, and an absolute recommendation for Antigua. The monastery is very big, and there are signs in almost every room explaining the significance of certain tools/spaces in English and Spanish. I would say you won't necessarily need a tour if you search for the info signs. The colours are lovely, and it's just beautiful all around. Perfect place to learn some history.Only downside were the prices, they are quite high at 45PEN for an adult.

Mundo Alpaca: what do users think?
Johnny Correa: THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE A PROTECTED ANIMAL LIKE THE VIVUÑA LOCKED UP.Their products are of good quality, but having a caged and stressed protected animal is very, very bad.
m: Super interesting
Julio C. Martinez Colarossi: Beautiful place, in addition to the clothing store you will have the opportunity to visit the mini zoo with a spectacular tour
Gabrielle Sigwalt: Wait time No wait Reservation recommended NoMore
Ross Elthewa: Nice and informative, but none to guide you around. Except in the gift shop...Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More

PATTY CH.A.: It is a mystical and very beautiful place. Our Peru 100pre has something that surprises us.I recommend that you go and remember that every day we learn something 100pre.
Ornella: Da vedere assolutamente. Oltre alla Vergine, molti manufatti perfettamente conservati.Ottima guida.

Neshama Rakofsky: Definitely recommend this tour. We did the tour in English with a fantastic guide named Maria. Super interesting artifacts and the stories are just incredible. Maria was so knowledgeable and welcoming of questions, she is so passionate about the information it's more like listening to a story than to a guided museum tour. The whole thing only takes about 45 mins. I'm not generally a tour OR museum person, but I actually enjoyed this. Great experience
María Luz Marín: I loved the detailed and precise information from the guide. We learned a lot about child sacrifice in ancient Peru and the circumstances in which Juanita was found. A recommendation, the place is kept cold to preserve the archaeological remains and even more so in the section where Juanita is. Bring something to cover yourself with. It is forbidden to take photos or record videos inside the exhibition halls.
Gomez Addams: Only let you enter if you sign up for a guided tour which I was uninterested in. For such a small museum it hardly seems necessary. So, no, I’ll pass.
María Belén Chipana: Excellent! 5 national soles, over five years old pay 3 soles for the entrance and voluntary tip to the guide. Everything on display is original and we were lucky to see the Juanita mummy. Can't take photos
mahdy faiz: The museum is small but have one mummy and only few things worth seeing. However, you can only visit with a guide (additional fee on top of the 25 sol entrance). The guided tour feels rushed and you cannot always hear the guide well enough. Not worth the time nor money
Luke Costa: A lot of negative reviews on here regarding the cost etc which almost made us not go. However, we are glad we did.Firstly, the reason it's cheaper for Peruvians is because it's their heritage, and its only right that its cheaper for them.Secondly, we were sceptical about the guide, however it really enhanced the experience. They covered all the areas of information that were written around artefacts and also gave additional info. The tip is at your discretion as well.Would 100% recommend, incredibly interesting and informative.
Pascal Burgard: Expensive relative to the wealth of information provided. I really expected to learn much more in this museum.
Mark Webster: Really disappointing. As mentioned in other reviews it’s compulsory to have a guided tour. When we arrived and were told this we politely asked if we could go around without a guide. The man in the desk immediately ignored us and started talking to another couple behind us. Incredibly rude. Half the tour is a 20min video with terrible sound quality. The guided tour was rushed and ruined the experience.Note that the museum is sponsored by the Catholic university and is therefore biased. We recommend doing some Quechua guided tours to get the real local history before attending.
Randall Marx: Great place to visit if you have interest in archaeology or Incan culture. They offer tours in English and SpanishVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Edwin Aparicio: Visit the mummy Juanita
Juan Carlos Medina: Nice museum of the Santa María Catholic University, small but very interesting, the museum staff is super attentive and helpful, the guide is very charismatic and knowledgeable about the subject. Seeing the lady of Ampato is an incredible experience, it is worth the trip! The entrance for nationals is 5 soles. One block from the main square of Arequipa. Go on your visit to this beautiful city. Highly recommended!
Zoltán Király: Huanitát mindenképp érdemes megnézni ha valaki Arequipába látogat
Katherine Espinel Smith: Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Not sureMore
Belissa Salinas Najarro: Highly recommended, the place is adapted in a very suitable way so that optimal conservation is achieved.
Mario Pérez Consuelo: Visited on Weekend Wait time 10–30 min Reservation recommended NoMore
Sour: Good place and the guide is very friendly, only he asks you for a tip, instead of being something voluntary.
