And they dont mention that issue when we reserved the place .

Mia Accesorios: We were in Arequipa for 3 days at the QP hotel in Arequipa, a very nice and warm hotel, a very good location, near the main square, the hotel is impeccably remodeled colonial style, preserving its essence, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It has a beautiful terrace and above all the attention of the staff is very warm and always very attentive to our requirements. Totally recommended.

Samson Wong: Probably known as one of the best hotels in Arequipa. The hotel has been around for a while and sits just on the outskirts of the main town. It’s about a 15 min walk into the main attractions. Although a little dated, the room was comfortable and spacious. Shower was a little weak but fine. Breakfast was a large spread with a lot of options buffet style. They have a large turtle in the grounds too. Staff super friendly! The chap who picked us up from the airport was incredible (Edwin?).

Tigi Saron Manfroi: This hotel is one of the best and busiest hotels for its location, with enough space and cleanliness. We have traveled to many places, but we have never seen workers as arrogant as the ones that work in this specific hotel. Without Roberto from the reception and José from the restaurant, this hotel would have been the worst place to stay.But I don't want to leave without mentioning the view of the cathedral from that point is impeccable especially at night.

Deb Reyes: Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. The hotel is locted in a historic house which was renovated in a classy way being modern yet respectful of it's history. The staff was amazing, attentive of every detail and very willing to accommodate our every need. The terrace with a view of the volcanoes is spectacular, with very complete breakfast and all you can drink tea and coffee assortment. Upon our departure, a guest in my party forgot a silver bracelet, the staff proceeded to call us and did every effort to return it. Very highly recommended!

The room had a view of a parking lot but the rooftop of the hotel is something else. Appreciating the Sunset with a few cocktails is unforgettable. Good quality of the bedding and the heating needs to be turned on because the room was somewhat freezing. The breakfast very good. Totally recommended.

Leonel Basso: An amazing place. We traveled from Argentina by car and we did not plan to go through Arequipa. We arrived at night and found this hotel. They helped us with everything right away. Super friendly and willing people. The place is beautiful, spacious and beautiful. Thank you for helping us and taking care of us so well. We spent some beautiful days there.

They supported me and were present from before my arrival and until when I had checked out of the hotel they were willing to support me with a mishap that I had during the trip and as I am a foreigner I had no one else to turn to. The understanding is greatly appreciated and that they can make you feel at home.Keep it up and obviously 100% recommended, I'll be back for sure

Not bad except on a festival night!Safety: Felt totally safe at all hours.Staff were outstanding.Walkability: Half block from the main plaza and very easy walking to all the best sights, lively with restaurants. Really this historical area is THE place to stay!Noteworthy details: They have a cute breakfast room and made to order breakfast options were very good. Also a deck off break fast room if you prefer eating outside.Bonus: two excellent rooftop decks. We bought bevvies at the market and loved sitting up there for breaks in the afternoon or evening.They arranged for a very nice transfer car to/from airport. Excellent option.When we went on our 16 hour trek to Colca Canyon that started at 3:30 am they prepared a meal to go for us ready at reception!Kept our luggage after we checked out.All in all excellent service. Why I only give to stars is, that me and my girlfriend needed a room for one additional night. On all online portals like booking there was no free room so we asked at the reception. They said one room is free but we need to pay the normal price 85 dollars instead of 65 dollars like on booking. Everything all right still a fair price. In the afternoon I wanted to pay the room but then they told me I have to pay 150 dollars which is not okay. I think they knew that there were less free rooms in total in the hotels in the city center but it is really not okay to double the price within some hours.
