PeruMotors S.R.L.: what do users think?
Sabine Croonen: If you ride a motorbike, then Peru is an awesome place to go. And these guys organise an amazing tour, packed with very nice rides and a lot of other cool activities. Everything was very well organized with nice clean hotels and beautiful roads. Due to some weather issues (landslides) the program had to be slightly changed, and Geert organized this perfectly without us losing any of the fun. You get absolute value for your money and we would highly recommend PeruMotors for your journey. Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience!
PAUL ATLAS: If you would like to see this wonderful country from the saddle of a motorcycle, guided by experienced and friendly people…. Look no further. The choice of places to visit, how to get to them and accommodation is varied and well thought out. The operators live here and have done for 20 or so years, they have extensive local and historical knowledge and a good sense of humour. The bikes are well looked after and suit the varied terrain.Go for it!
Simon Russen: Great trip. My F700GS was perfect for the great variety of roads and the tour schedule was just right. Some great hotels and some stunning views. Geert got the balance of the tour just right and the walking tour of Cusco..sponsored by Peru Motors free if charge....was great fun. Thanks for a fantastic holiday and unforgettable experience.
Marc Gray: These guys are the ONLY place to go for a motorcycle tour of Peru, South America, the USA, or Europe! Just do it!Our tour was the Classic Inca 9 Day, me and the wife were doubled up on the bike. And the attention paid to the wife to make sure she was having as much of a blast as I was, was second to none! She always felt like a top priority to our guides for the entire tour! Well done Geert and Lars!Their attention to detail, choice of hotels, the motorcycles offered to rent, and the staff's upbeat attitude make them stand out head and shoulders above other tours we've been on! These guys nailed it! They handled all the details so all we had to do was enjoy the ride! The routes were amazing, miles of turn after turn, and the views, both on and off the bike, were breathtaking! And don't forget about the "World Famous Walking City Tour in Cusco", powered by Peru Motors, free of charge, often imitated, never duplicated! You'll be glad you went!Rest assured, we will be back for another tour next year!Do yourself a huge favor and book here first! You wont regret it!
Alles in allem super. Selbst für Beginner (1 x 2 Jahre mit knapp 3.500 km Praxis) machbar, wenn man sich auf den Verkehrsfluss einlässt.Danke Geert und Lars für diesen unvergesslichen Urlaub 👍
Justin Butler: Peru motors was great and getting everything set up and moving smoothly
Mark Fisher: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness,ValueThese guys get it! We had the time of our lives on this tour of Peru. My wife and I each got great bikes that suited us, and Lars and Geert were fantastic guides. We would do this again in a heartbeat. Let them know what your goals are, and they will help you have a great time.
Moto Paule: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Richard J Kruse: just got back from one of the greatest rides of my life. peru motors special peru/Andes adventure. twisties and more twisties and even more twisties. beautiful scenery that most tourists will never see. absolutely phenomenal. I am pushing 80 yrs of age and they took great care of me. thank. you all. Richard
Nevin Diener: Having just finished a two-week motorcycle tour of southern Peru, I give FIVE STARS to Peru Motors for The Ride of My Life. In spite of the travel challenges posed by a world just emerging from pandemic, Lars and Geert provided an outstanding experience for me and four other riders from Europe and the US in October 2021.Peru Motors is a class operation. They took care of every detail for every rider, every day of the trip. They booked us in the best available hotels for each night of the tour and they facilitated arrival and departure travel arrangements before and afterward, and making sure we had all the necessary travel documents. And their on-site hotel for arrival night and departure day was clean and well run. Most of all, our guide was excellent, personable, and available every minute of the tour.Highlights of the tour included visits to the floating islands of Lake Titicaca, a train excursion to Machu Picchu, the Nazca Lines in the desert, condor sightings in Colca Canyon, and an overnight stay in the Amazon rainforest. Numerous other stops each day provided fascinating looks at Peruvian culture and history, and up-close interactions with the beautiful people of Peru.Best of all were the top-notch roads and scenery of the region. If you like to ride on endless twisty roads with jaw-dropping scenery around every corner, this the place to be. Having traveled for many years by motorcycle throughout the US, Canada, and Europe, this tour had me laughing and shouting to myself inside my helmet at the riding experience of a lifetime.
Jesus Huaracha: well entertained
Vilecon Vile: Positive:ProfessionalismThe best in PeruService:Private tours

robcroese: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueOver the years I have taken many tours with PeruMotors and I have always been very satisfied. The tours go to the best places and use the most scenic roads. The hotels are always good and the daily rides are always manageable. The fun factor and the camaraderie are always great and the value is good!Service:Group tours
G Funk: Not Recommended. Made a $500 deposit at the end of October 2019 for an early Jan 2020 ride for 2 weeks. Somehow there were 2 x $500 deposits sent. Paid the full balance in Peru when I got the bike. Noticed the double deposit on my card as soon as I got back and contacted PM. Lars claimed they never received the extra $500. After about a month of emails and confirmations from the credit card Lars finally agreed they had received the money but would not refund any of the money saying it was too late. Lars eventually agreed to refund some money but it was less than half. Be careful!!
Alberto Alexander Alcarraz: Prices too high for compatriots, it is good that this cost is charged to foreigners but not to Peruvians whose income is well below the average even in the case of a middle class traveler
Michael Lust: PeruMotors is an outstanding Moto rental. Lars is more than accommodating to all our needs, the La Gruta hotel is a great place to start your tour from.
Ryan Rainville: Overall, I would rent again.Pros:1) Very responsive to emails2) Good condition, quality bikes3) Ability to rent on short notice (corresponded 26 days earlier but confirmed rental 4 days before start date)4) SOAT taken care of5) Flexible (see fuel note below)6) We had a lot of funCons:1) Less organized than I had hoped:a) Hours are not listed online & signage is for hotel, not PeruMotors. I asked what time PeruMotors would open in the morning and the desk staff said 9AM but when I arrived at 9:10 I still needed to wait for Lars to arrive from his house nearby.b) I had requested a small helmet but only one option was available at the rental location so we needed to proceed to Lar’s house nearby to find a better fit. With other delays it took over an hour to complete the rental (only customer) despite being told 30 minutes is typical.c) Top case is listed as an option on the website but Lars said ‘we don’t use those anymore, too many shake off’. Maybe none were available on limited notice, but this is something I had planned on as a backrest for the passenger.d) The bikes are supposed to start with a full tank but mine was found to have half a tank. “No worries, just return it with half a tank or we'll refund half a tank of gas”. I was told the fuel level was enough to reach Aplao but the fuel light turned on well before Aplao while entering an isolated stretch and I needed to turn around for gas.2) Typically it would seem paying by credit card is more flexible but after the fact (when seeking to return the bike early) it was stated that credit card transactions could not be undone. Lars did work with us amicably to reach a resolution which I appreciate given the fact that we requested a change after agreeing to original rental terms.

Peruvian Cooking Experience: what do users think?
Joost de Groot: Unfortunately, not a very good experience. The class started late. During the class “experience” it was not clear what was going to be cooked. No recipes were provided to the people participating. Following we solely needed to cut some food preparing for the cooking which was done by the instructor and not by the participants. Cooking techniques were not clear. The dishes were not tasteful. All in all a strange and disappointing experience.
Rik Kotter: We booked a cooking class this morning through our hostel that was supposed to be at 4pm (they also have an 11am option). However, slightly after 11am they called us to cancel our class. Since we're leaving tomorrow to Colca Canyon and the morning class has just started, that means we can't a cooking class anymore in Arequipa because of this cancellation.Although we would have still preferred the 4pm option, would they have communicated earlier that they would cancel it, we could've lived with the menu of the morning class, but not even that was possible now.And yes, we know today is the feast of Santa Rosa de Lima (a holiday), but that does not excuse the poor communication on their behalf.
Oli Theo: Schöne Erfahrung in toller Umgebung. Rundum gelungenes Programm.

Jonathan Bywaters: Great class! It was just us 2 but the teacher was really helpful and informative, they laid pout the table door us to eat our food and had prepped everything so we came in, learnt how to cut and then cook the food. it was delicious!Bi lingual teacher so we could have the lesson in English, really enjoyed it and look forward to making the dishes when we’re home with the instructions
Juliana Valdivia: It was a very interesting, fun and rich culinary experience. Very tasty Peruvian recipes.
Cristian Ortega Albornoz: Very good
Mikael D: We had a great experience where the head chef was patient and explained the dishes, the ingredients and their purpose. Really tasty food.
Kadri Haxhija: Tolle Erfahrung. Sehr nette Lehrerin!
Peter Wright: Fantastic experience. Ale was a very knowledgeable and fun host. Great company, food, atmosphere and taught in a manner that will be brought back to my kitchen.
Eloise Bluck-Madden: Had a great time and the Peruvian Cooking Experience and learned a lot about the history of the dishes and the area. The hotel and kitchen were beautiful and the host was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, can't wait to try to recreate it at home
alonso espino: It is a fascinating experience, the people who give the lessons are very capable and always attentive to each one when they need it, I consider one of the best in arequípa
Merci beaucoup ! :)
maureen ba: First of all the activity started 15min late while we were asked to arrive 10 min in advance... Not nice.We did the Lomo saltado class, we were 3 people. We paid 75 soles each for 2 hours class. It went well, we did one small meal and then Lomo saltado. It was OK because the chef is really nice but if I have to rate the class, it was not the best.First of all the class lasted 1h45min and during it we ate the meal so we only cooked 1h15min maybe. It did not learn much as the was not technical part, it was really basic.I did not learn anything about Peruvian history or culture and the ingredient were basic, nothing so local.I spent a good moment thanks to the chef but honestly the class is disappointing.
Rebecca Law: The Andean menu food was tasty, but undercooked in order to rush us out. There was no explanation of the history or culture of the foods. Overpriced for what it was.
Hakim Benkara: The experience was excellent. Great staff, great recipes and a marvellous meal at the end!!
Christina Mastantuono: Amazing experience. A must try in Arequipa. Lady, the chef, is an angel and the food is great.
Erika Casa de Avila: A great activity ready for you wveryt day in Arequipa except Sundays.

ColcaTrek: what do users think?
Katherine d'Elloy: We had a great time discovering the Colca Valley with Vlado. He has so many stories, an immense cultural background and took us to absolutely breathtaking non touristic places. Go and book that tour it is so worth it. The Colca Valley and its surroundings are an absolute must do when in Arequipa.
EDGARD BELTRAN: Good attentionWith experience in tourism
Luuk Deen: Vlado is the best guide. Thinks about everything and makes you feel extremely comfortable
FC 1960: Excellent service
Lotte VDE: Our 3 day visit to the Colca canyon was just what we wanted: in a group of 6 people with Patty, our very kind and professional guide and Erly, our very kind and safe driver. Golden duo, it was very nice to travel with this agency! We were able to visit the Colca canyon in very calm and charming way, with avoiding the big crowds (e.g. we were alone at Cruz del Condor). Last but definetely not least, we had the opportunity to sleep in the amazing Colca Trek Lodge. Highly recommend!
Helber Paredes Tairo: I went to the Cotahuasi canyon, not the Coloca
Simon Cuerden: I did the two-day Colca Canyon tour. The tour was undoubtedly good but it was not great.Firstly, the staff were definitely amiable although the information I was given beforehand did not adequately prepare me for the trip.I was specifically told to bring insect repellent. I have no idea why. This was completely unnecessary because I never had to use it. Secondly, nobody bothered to give me the most important piece of advice: bring warm clothes! Nobody in my small group had done so either. In fact, a group member told me that before the tour she had explicitly asked if she should bring warm clothes and was advised it was unnecessary. I was freezing cold at night. This annoyed me because I had warm clothes – back in Arequipa! Yes, it may be hot during the day, but the temperature drops dramatically at night. Nobody bothered to tell me this.I was expecting a lot more information on the tour but didn’t receive very much. If I contrast this to my Sacred Valley tour near Cusco, we were constantly informed. The first part of the trip involved an off-road visit to some striking rock formations. Our guide took us on a short walk. However, we got to a point where we were at the bottom of a short but steep incline. It was tough to scramble up and felt dangerous. If I’d fallen, I could have hurt myself. I thought this was an unnecessary risk. The walks we did were pleasant but were nothing extraordinary. One involved stopping on the road and walking alongside observing local wildlife – but we were walking along the side of the road! I had expected something a little more uplifting than this. When we arrived at our hotel, it was pleasant but very cold. This could have easily been avoided if someone had told us to bring warm clothes! (Yes, I know I’m harping on about this, but this issue would have been so easy to avoid.) We went for an early evening walk nearby. It was okay, but I wasn’t too impressed at the amount of garbage on the footpath. It was pretty depressing to see. Once we got to the edge of the canyon, our guide asked if we wanted to proceed further. But we were all so cold that we asked to turn back.On the second day, we went on a bicycle ride. Most of it was downhill so it didn’t require much effort. The views were lovely, and this was fun. This was an enjoyable excursion. The food at the lodge was decent and basic – but it wasn’t exceptional. By the way, the lodge doesn’t have internet. Although my cellphone provider, Claro, had an excellent signal, it would have been nice to know about the lack of internet in advance. After all, for better or worse we live in a connected world – and it would have been better to have known this beforehand. The van we travelled in was comfortable enough, but the door rattled slightly. This made for quite a noisy journey. I know this may seem trivial, but for a long trip, it matters. The constant juddering was a bit jarring. We were asked to complete a questionnaire at the end of the trip. This is always a good idea, but for a questionnaire to accurately reflect people's opinions, it’s much better to give guests the privacy to complete it. Then you are more likely to receive an accurate reflection of what they think. Why so? Well, some people are happy to discuss things in person while others are more non-confrontational and prefer to privately give their thoughts on paper. This was not possible, as our guide was hovering over us the entire time and immediately read the questionnaires after they had been completed. As I said, this tour was certainly good but not great. Judging by how much this cost compared to other tours, in my heart I cannot really recommend it.
Tim Peelen: Perfect information provided about hiking in the region by vlado. Most kind and helpfull person you will ever find :)
Robert de Vos: We did the 2 day/1 night Colca Trek and it was great! We were picked up early in the morning at our hostel by a private bus from Colca Trek. Here we met our tourguide Savino and our driver Michi. These two really made our trip even more special because they were so much fun together! Very high knowledge level and always time for some jokes (often at expense of each other :) ). The first day you drive towards Colca Canyon and make multible stops on the way to look at nice places, nature and animals. At the end of day one you arrrive in their beautiful lodge with a magnificent view of the canyon. There is a nice fireplace where you can have a drink and relax. The second day you have a walk along the canyon towards the viewpont of the Condors, also beautiful (we saw 3!). After this you have a bikeride down and enjoy the magical scenery. All in all a great experience, Savino and Michi thank you!
Martin Gonzalez Ramirez: Had a great experience climbing the Misti with Johan Zarate. I have climbed a few similar-profile mountains and he's the best guide I've encountered so far. Without his support and management, both mentally and physically (setting the right pace), our group wouldn't have made it to the top. Very glad we climbed with him and thanks to Colca Trek for organising it at such short notice (36 hours).
yanet bellido: 🤬
Debora Martins: Disappointed with the food served.
In drie dagen.
Christian W.: We made a tour to the Colca Canyon and we loved it. We was never be a part of the crowd and could see each stop with a good explanation of the guide. The night in the lodge was very comfortable with an amazing view. And of cause, our group was first to see the condors.
angelica c: Bit hard, accommodations in the oasis were very simple
Angéline Berthet: We had a wonderful trip with Mihail Soto alias Michi, a human person who did everything to make us stay the best trip ever away from others tourists. Thanks a lot colca trek and Michi to organise our trip of fantastic 4 days
Thiago Moulin: The Colca Canyon is a great place to see, but I would not recommend doing a tour. Rather, it seems to me that it is a better value to rent a car, drive around there and stay in a nice hotel (such as the Colca Lodge with hot springs).I will start from the beginning: If you plan do book this online know that they do not have any system implemented and everything is done over email (more prone to mistakes too). You have then to wire $100 to them to make sure you have a spot. This was more complicated than it seems with my bank and there was a $20 fee involved. Colca Trek made an exception and I transferred them the money over Western Union, which saved me such fee. Still, very cumbersome process.I booked the 2 day tour. Initially, it was advertised that we would be picked up from our hotel and that we would go to hot springs at the end of the second day. About a month prior we received an email stating that they would not be able to pick us up, rather, we would have to go to their store to get the van. About 15 days prior to the tour we get another email stating that the hot springs are too crowded and that we would do a hike instead. It surprises me that being in this business for so long they could not anticipate how the hot springs would be and not falsely advertise such a feature in their tour.Very well, we go on our tour. First thing to know is that the Colca Valley/Canyon is a 3h drive from Arequipa. Add in the stops to pee, have lunch, see animals (llama, vicuña, etc) and some rock formations and you've spent pretty much all of your first day with very, VERY skippable things. After dropping our stuff off at the nice hotel they have there, we go on a short hike down to where the Valley narrows down into the Canyon and watch the sunset. This was great, but lasted 30 min, maybe less. The second day starts early. We go to the Cruz del Condor and arrive there around 7:30. No condors in sight but it was quite nice seeing the beautiful canyon with no tourists around. We go to our downhill bike experience. This lasted 30 min max, which was such a shame. Instead of touring down slowly and appreciating the vistas, our tour guide rushed the way down. Given that we were instructed to stay together and follow him, we all finished this activity so much faster than it should have been. The views are incredible. The valley and the ancient terraces are wonderful. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy it as much as we could. We then head back to the Cruz del Condor, around 9:00 and this time we see so many condors. It is now packed with tourists too.To end the day we go on a pretty mediocre hike to a lake. Why we didn't use this time to see more of the canyon/valley is beyond me. We then go back to the hotel, have lunch and then head back to Arequipa. Now here's why I think you should go to the canyon but not do a tour: the best thing about the Colca, by far, is its geography and the terracing. The condor watching is also another highlight. None of this requires any knowledge. There's no hidden gems. It's right there. If you drive around, stopping at the miradores that you think are nice you'll have a much better, unique and exclusive experience, not having to share it with a 16 people tour. Our tour guide, Sabino, was a nice guy, but the information he offered is not worth the price you pay - in money terms (US$190/person) but also in having to pace yourself with the other 16 people, never really having solitude in a place that kinda requires quiet admiration, etc. Also, the food we ate was ok (I think it's almost impossible to eat bad food in Peru) and the hotel is nice, but, again, not worth $190/person.If you are a couple, and decide to rent a car and stay in the Colca Lodge, for example, you'll spend less, stay in a much nicer hotel, spend as much time as you want admiring the canyon and can then use the savings to buy a good book on the history of the Colca ;-) .
Guillermo Caballero: An unforgettable experience, descending into the depths of the Colca and feeling the micro climates is fabulous, the richness of the valley, the use of pre-Inca platforms and the landscapes make this trek something fabulous.
Imke Schoppink: We had an amazing tour with Colca Trek to the Colca Canyon. At first we wanted to do a tour where we would hike more but we're glad that we didn't because the altitude hit us harder then expected. In stead of walking we biked a lot which was a very nice alternative. With the tour we drove to a beautifull lodge with a lot of stops on the way to watch wildlife and nature scenes. The lodge is wonderfull with an amazing view over the mountains and very nice staff. It gets super cold at night and they put warm water bottles in our kingsize bed.The absolute best thing about out trek was our guide Sabino. He was born in the canyon and gives a lot of interesting information about the flora and fauna in the region. He is very friendly and helpfull and takes very good care of the people in his group, especially if you suffer from altitude sickness. He also taught us how to make amazing pisco sours. And he makes sure you get to see Condors!

CEICA Peru Spanish Language School: what do users think?
Thiago Cruz: A escola é incrível, ótimos professores e coordenadores.
Paul Girard: Healthy ambience. They're a supportive family and staff of locals who are charismatic! They genuinely want to help you learn and improve your speaking, listening, reading and comprehension of Spanish. Karla was professional, understanding, grounded yet open to a good laugh while exercising her modalities of teaching. Definitely, I felt at home with Carmen and Sofia because they both shared parenting qualities which demonstrated that they wanted the best for me during my time avaliable to learn. Lessons in the garden whilst in the school environment...Considering all aspects of the school, It felt like a utopia! Lessons, learning and Blessings. Gracias a los todos.
Sandra Schacherer: WE Had a good Look around Arequipa to find the perfect Spanisch school for us and We dicided to go for Ceica, which was a great choice.Although We only stayed one week, We could refresh and improve Our Spanisch a Lot.The nice little Garden where you learn gave it the perfect Ambiente.Besides we also stayed in the Apartment on the second Floor of the school, which We shared with some Others Students. It IS really nice and even has a great balcony.I can highly recommend the school, the teachers (Ada and Rocia), the owner/Organisator Sofia and the Apartment. All the best for you.
Nancy Samson: I highly recommend CEICA Spanish School as it will greatly enhance your ability to communicate in Spanish. It is a warm and comfortable environment (the classes are held outside in a pleasant garden) and the class time flies by quickly. My teacher Ada was very helpful and extremely patient as I worked to improve my basic understanding of Spanish. She was very creative in applying various teaching styles and practices as she pushed me to improve my spanish vocabulary and communication skills beyond the beginner level. It is surprising the amount of progress one can make in a small amount of time while attending the school.
Clemens Schroeder: We stayed in the lovely accommondation in Ceica school for one week and really enjoyed the Spanish course there! Sofia was super helpful with everything and is running a very well organized Spanish school. I learned a lot from my teachers Ada and Rocio, they were super friendly, helpful and always in a good mood. The 1 to 1 course helps a lot to improve your Spanish, I really enjoyed the time at Ceica! Muchas gracias!
Ginny Catanese: I spent a week doing the travelers class at CIECA and had a wonderful time. The space is lovely and my teachers and other staff were wonderful - welcoming and professional. At the end of the week I felt completely satisfied with the level of Spanish I obtained while with them and look forward to continuing to learn while I travel around Peru :)
Jamie T: I had a wonderful experience at CEICA Peru Spanish Language School! It is run by a lovely family who made me feel like part of the family. All the classes are one-on-one and the teachers I had were professional, kind, and made the lessons fun. I signed up for a program where my teacher also guided me through town every afternoon to see the historical sites and learn about Peruvian and Arequipan culture. Sofia, who runs the school, also made all the arrangements for trips to Colca Canyon and Lake Titicaca. I chose to live at the school, where I had a nice suite. Another student lived with a local family. Sofia will arrange whatever accommodations you prefer. I was traveling alone, but didn't feel alone once I arrived at the school. I highly recommend CEiCA Peru!
Rory White: I spent a week and a half at Ceica Peru and had a great time. The classes were 1 on 1 and my teacher was extremely helpful so my Spanish improved a lot. Everything was very well organised and the service was brilliant. The accommodation was great and in a good location for shops and not far from the centre. And if I ever needed anything e.g. a taxi or medicine, then Sofia was always there to help. I can't recommend Ceica Peru enough.
Annemarie Briggs: Had such a lovely experience at this school, Sofia does an amazing job running the place and making me feel at home while I was staying in the apartment at the school and settling in Arequipa. My teacher was also great and really helped me improve my Spanish so quickly in the 2 weeks I was there. Would recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn Spanish in a comfortable environment and have time to explore the city while you’re there.
Kurt Provost: Positive:Quality,ValueI spent 3 weeks living and studying at Ceica, it was an incredible experience, and exactly what my Spanish needed! Arequipa is a beautiful city to live in, much better than Lima if you're wondering 😆 The one on one tutoring ensured my Spanish improved rapidly, thanks to the great teachers at the school. I can't wait to return!
Kit Garnett: I only intended to stay for 2 weeks but ended up getting lessons for 7! This language school is by far the best, and most affordable, one I've ever been to, I'd thoroughly recommend it. Malena and Ada were amazing teachers and I hope I can come back again one day!
20h in 5 Tagen.
Melissa Rogan: I spent 3 weeks studying basic / intermediate spanish here in feb 2020 whilst staying with a host family organised by the school. I cannot rate this school highly enough. The staff and teachers were incredibly accommodating, in that I was able to go through the material at my pace and focus on improving my conversational skills. My lessons each day were conducted one on one in the lovely garden, with the occasional hummingbird dropping by.My host family were lovely and I was able to spend breakfasts and dinners at the table with the family immersing myself in Spanish conversation. Both the school and the homestay in Cayma were a comfortable walking distance (20 minutes) from each other and the main town centre.Would highly recommend to anyone 😊Y gracias de nuevo CEICA por la maravillosa experiencia, ahora yo sueño en español 😊
jürgen barthelmes: in february 2020 i spent three weeks at the Ceica language school. initially i only wanted to take a two weeks course. but i enjoyed it so much, that i decided to stay longer.it was obvious that my profesora had a lot of experience with language students, she was able to make difficult contents entertaining for me and the time passed by quickly.i never had the feeling of pressure or that i felt stupid.the textbook was accompanied by short stories, that were really interesting and gave you additional views on latinamerican culture.the lessons generally take place in the garden behind the building. it is quiet there except for the birds (i.e. colibris) that come to visit the garden.i can definitely recommend this school.jürgen barthelmes
Iseul Lim: Very kind and very good study!
Marcin Kurnal: 5 beers and lessons at this school = fluent Spanish. But in all seriousness, great lessons with Ada. Learnt a lot. School missed a bit activities so that’s probably one thing that could be improved.Recommended!
Gavin Greenberg: Had such an incredible experience at this Spanish School. I just finished taking a months worth of classes with Ada. The way Ada taught was just unreal. She kept me focused, interested, and speaking constantly without ever feeling embarrassed by messing up or saying something wrong. I learned way more in this last month than I had in the previous year or trying. I highly recommend Ada and this school.
Jenna Jones: What a great experience! I just spent two weeks 10 hours a week learning Spanish with Janina. She is so welcoming and kind and it put me at ease. Going into my first lesson I was very nervous but as soon as I got to the school I felt very welcomed. From one teacher to another keep up the great work and thank you for a wonderful experience here in Arequipa!
Martha Otice: I spent a month at Ceica School and found it to be a great experience..I gained more knowledge of the Spanish language..the instructors were very competent , especially Sonia..the family of Carmen, Sophia and Jose made me feel welcomed..estoy muy feliz y le recomendaría a Ceica.😊👏👍
Carmen Schuurman: Best experience to learn the basic Spanish language due to a good organisation, teacher Ada and a lovely family stay in Arequipa

Maria Grace Runciman Mori: Total relaxation good
Juan Carlos Portillo: Excellent recovery treatments, with very good results.
Alvaro Montes de Oca Beltran: Quality sports medical care. Good gym for recovery. Therapists and machines for treatment of injuries
Elisa C.: I love the gym, it's quiet and very clean. It's small, but for me, perfect. Nothing else would improve the attention at reception in the afternoon hours.
Fernando Contini Castro: Very good patient care
Lya Mendoza del Solar: They are professionals in preparing exercise routines. The facilities are clean and the machines are very effective. The assistants, especially Erika, are very polite and attentive and care that one does everything the doctor orders. And she is always ready to help. They still don't have an encoder and you can't watch TV while doing the exercises, especially the bands and spinning.Sometimes the doctor orders too much exercise, he thinks that we are all athletes. They should make agreements with a parking lot. There is nowhere to leave the car.But in summary, it is a good place to rehab and exercise.
ROCIO SELENA JARUFE NUÑEZ: The attention of the physiotherapy is correct, the lady is kind and her work is goodBut in the reception of lousy attention the treatment and the desire to attend is for the reception my evaluation of 1 star
José Carlos Valdivia Bedregal: Very hot
RICARDO SEQUERA: Excellent place to perform therapies and to exercise... It has treadmills, bicycles and various machines... It also has excellent training... Very good place, I recommend it
Marcelo Neira: Exceptional specialized doctor and very outstanding personal therapists.
Emilio Zuñiga: Good place to do recovery therapy

Spanish School Arequipa: what do users think?
Petter Skau-Nilsen: I had an amazing time with Giovanna and Juliana. They really adapted the course to fit my wants and needs. I learned a lot, not only spanish, but also about life in Peru, some history and culture which was really amazing. I had 20 hours of courses and was really pleased!
Sukru Ozutok: A course that teaches only spanish to english speaking people, when i went with my wife they said they can teach spanish only to english speaking people, this is really ridiculous, they also say their teachers have 10 years of experience, if they are so professional, i can't understand why they can't teach someone who doesn't speak spanish. I really don't understand this situation.
Christoph Janssen: A beautiful school with awesome and very professional teachers! I learned so much and always felt very comfortable:) thanks a lot for everything you made my stay in South America so much better!
Oriane Petitmengin: I spent 5 weeks in Arequipa and the spanish classes really helped me communicate more fluently in Spanish. The private teachers adapt really well to your level and your interests and the school is very flexible to adapt the class to your timetable.
Sophia Kruz: Casa de Avila is a very special place. I spent 4 months in Arequipa and it was my home away from home. One on one lessons with the fantastic teacher Jeanette were far more than a basic tutorial in Spanish. She taught me local places to eat, shop, dance and hang out. I even came home with a puppy, because Jeanette told me about the pet market... But most importantly, before coming to Peru, I couldn't speak a word of Spanish. By the end of my stay in Arequipa, I was conversational, and my accent was pretty good!Armando the owner is also really wonderful and made me feel welcome from the first day. We went to a few picanterias, my husband played Santa at a local elementary school Armando sponsors, and most importantly, we became friends over the course of my trip. I also loved the cooking class we took when my dad came to visit! If you're thinking of taking Spanish in Peru, I highly recommend you do so at Casa de Avila. The lessons are high quality, one on one, and take place in a beautiful garden. Also, Arequipa doesn't see a lot of tourists compared to Cuzco/Machu Picchu so most people don't speak English. It's a great place to be immersed in the language. Plus, the sun shines most days, and the food is out of this world.
Peter Boggs: I enjoyed my stay and my studies in Arequipa. I found the teachers to be very skilled and professional. I learned a lot, but I still have a lot to learn. The school also helped me find a very comfortable apartment nearby. I strongly recommend the school to any prospective students! Peter Boggs, North Carolina, USA
Angelica Haas: I had a great time learning at the Spanish school in Arequipa. I only took two days of classes but I did learn a lot in the short time I was studying. The teachers are very nice and also challenge you to always be thinking and speaking in Spanish. The classes are within walking distance of the center so it was convenient to get there as well. I would recommend these classes to future visitors to Arequipa.
Mostafa Khorsandi: I took spanish classes for a week. Great experience and excellent teachers. compared to other neighboring countries I visited they provide excellent value for their classes.
Andrew Monroe: Excellent teachers and a cozy learning environment. Recommended.
Petrus Johannes van Soest: Excelent school, I stayed there for 2 weeks doing conversation and gramatics for 4 hours a day, I had 3 marvelous teachers, their professional pride and perseverance made me understand the difficulties in the Spanish language much better, many thanks to Giovanna, Juliana, and Angela.I will recommend this school to everyone that will learn the spanish language. The school is situated inside an hotel area, (Casa de Avila) the hotel can offer you rooms of different standards, in the middle of the area there is a beautiful garden.I will not hesitate to come back here.Petrus.
Wu Jayaliilá (Jayaliila'): Cozy place
Lay San: I wanted a structure in learning, this is one of the things I like about my teachers here (I had two), they set levels on studies, like if I've learned one topic we move on to the next. There is never a blank moment, they know how to ask questions that's relevant to the lesson at hand. They ask you to talk using the grammar and words you are learning/discussing.It's also very helpful that what you study is immediately applicable to travelling or daily lives.Though I felt like we could cover more lessons in four hours, still I believe I've improve rapidly in the three weeks I studied here.I have to say though, that sometimes I have to push them to teach me what I want to learn (past and future tense for example)instead of sticking to their plans which sometimes I don't feel suites me (like, pronouncing words after them) and also sometimes they would ask a question and when it's taking you a bit to formulate your words they would provide you the answers and I have to say no, give me a moment more to answer it myself. It's also good that you get to choose your time schedule and your teachers. What I don't like though is, in their flyer/marketing/advertisement it says they have a garden you can study in, but when I asked my teacher to go in the garden, I was told they were forbidden to hold classes there.
Paul Artale: Started with a week's class of private tuition, but added an extra week of grammar because it was worth it.Teaching method is half grammar/half communication and no workbooks are used. This makes learning direct, no frills and more effective than being chained to a book.Grammar was very good as the teacher (Beatriz) knew what she was doing, focusing on creating and completing a permanent and transportable grammar plan. The only drawback was those clases weren't always in Spanish 100% of the time.Communication was okay however could be better with a linkage to the current grammar topics. The location is excellent and fees lower than schools in Lima and Cusco, also Arequipa is a better city for a Spanish student.Overall this school might be the best option in Peru.

Specialized Arequipa: what do users think?
Tijmen van Loon: Don’t know about the quality of their bike service (although I would guess it’s on point given their professional shop and friendly attitude), but Oscar helped me greatly with information and contacts to hike the Misti volcano. I came to the shop looking for a bike box and left with the idea to climb Misti instead. Super friendly people with a good command of English.
Carlos Eduardo Cabrera Godinez: Good attention and bicycles, you find everything for your bike.
José Mauricio Llerena Juárez: Everything for our pedaling
Jaime Chavez: Sale of Specialized bikes although a bit expensive but worth the investment
Lucia Delgado: Excellent service, highly recommended.
Jose Cayro: Good service, good products.
Edgar Sánchez: Excellent!
Guillermo Velarde A.: The excellent attention
Connie Valdeiglesias: The hours that appear here are a lie, it's 2:24 p.m. and the workers say they have already closed when one of their pages shows that they close at 3pm. And on this ad it says 8:00 pm. I think that if they have money to spare or it's hard for them to work, they should remove these ads from the Internet.
Cesar Salas: Personalized service, they have almost everything for the cyclist and they give you good advice. It has a workshop in the same store. And good bikes for sale, even electric.
Renzo Carpio: 👍👍👍
Bryce Mancell: Got the basics, good spot and has a bike mechanic on staff.
Carlos Valdez: Excellent products and maintenance service.
Christian Castro Socolich: Excellent treatment
Renzo Rodriguez: 👍🏼
