May Muhtadi: We had a brilliant experience at CIRQA and it is undeniably the best hotel we stayed in Peru. It is the perfect place to unwind, relax and pamper yourself (especially after a tour or trek!). The attention to detail, from the architecture to the luxury amenities have been well thought of and makes this a truly unique hotel stay. I was also so impressed with the service as the staff are extremely attentive and friendly and really makes you feel well-looked after. They also gave us some great recommendations on places to go in the area and on excursions. We will definitely be coming back to stay here one day and also can’t wait to try out its sister hotel in Lake Titikaka.
Federico Martin Botta Aramburu: I loved the stay and the hotel seems excellent. I think they have a very good service, attention to detail and not to mention the gastronomy. I congratulate you for the great work you do daily! Today, more than ever after the pandemic, good service in hotels is noticeable.
Sharon Telesca Feurer: A thoughtful reimagining of a 1540 monastery, honoring its historic UNESCO protected site with contemporary touches. The decor is sublime. The staff, warm and welcoming. It is a respite in Arequipa a block or so from the center square.
The Best place in town !
Santiago Le Jeune: Fantastic stay at CIRQA, beautiful hotel a block away from the main square. The service was impeccable and the restaurant serves some of the best food in Arequipa in a secluded setting. Highly recommend the smoked trout for breakfast!
Alejandro Rodriguez: Brilliant architecture, great food and exceptional service!!!
Mikołaj Valencia: Restaurant - Charming place for a romantic supper or just wine. Nice food but way less charming than the place. Expensive wine selection. Nice and careful staff. Mixed feelings at the end.
Jia Jin Low: I knew it was going to be a great stay from the moment we were greeted at the airport. The driver handed us cold towels to cool off, and proceeded to fish out two bottles of cold mineral water for the short car ride to the hotel. The design of the hotel was beautiful as well. Architecturally, this is probably the most stunning hotel in Arequipa. The parador has a real sense of place, and there’s no mistaking which city you’re staying in when cooling off in the courtyard, surrounded by white walls. The only niggle was that the pool was really awkward — too small to properly swim in, it was like a plunge pool but out in public for all to see. Well, that and the fact that there’s no mechanised way to close the light vents on the ceiling of the room. There’s a generosity and attention to detail in the service that mark this as a true luxury hotel. Snacks and drinks were readily given when hanging out at the rooftop bar. Preferences for still/sparkling water were remembered. After checking out, they realised that we had left one pair of pants behind, and instantly sent a taxi driver to the airport to hand us that one pair of pants. We were safely reunited 🙂. My only service nitpick was that there was once where we were on the rooftop bar, but no one was there for 10mins. But it wasn’t a big issue, I helped myself to cookies.Overall, Cirqa was a good value considering what was provided, despite being the most expensive hotel in town. It’ll be my choice if I return to Arequipa.

Robert Yost: Incredible boutique hotel. Amazing staff and superior meals. Highly recommend!
Miquel Ramis Munar: The hotel is located in a former convent in the city of Arequipa. The hotel preserves its white volcanic stone block walls and integrates modern touches without breaking with tradition. The hotel is associated with Relais & Chateu and meets expectations. The service is excellent, to highlight the waitress Alejandra. The hotel restaurant is also very good. The location is unbeatable, very close to the city's main square.

Earth Explorer: Our stay at Cirqa was nice for sightseeing and having a cocktail there but definitely not for spending the night. A reasonable opinion from someone who travels a lot:The old monastery is an idyllic place but bad for your health in terms of rooms. The humid rooms spread a moldy air that hits your lungs. After contacting the manager, he was able to tell that this problem has been known from the beginning of the hotel's existence. Reason would be because they are old foundations. As long as this problem is not solved the customers are stuck with the misery and they not only pay a lot of money but also pay with their health. After 3 nights we felt so bad that we wanted to go somewhere else. Too bad business is more important than health because the hotel did not allow us to cancel the last 4th night. Cirqa wanted us to believe it was because of the altitude. We then went to a Belmond Hotel in Colca Canyon and after 1 night the difference was already positive even though Colca Canyon is higher! The restaurant is particularly noisy because the adjacent Church has some kind of fan that makes an immense noise non-stop.Furthermore, it has no spa.The masseurs are hired amateurs who clearly have no expertise. They are sweet but that's about it. Massaging on the bones is never okay. The pool unfortunately had a maintenance during our stay. But did look nice.Breakfast is limited and only until 9am. With much effort they wanted to stay open until 9:30.Electricity in the suite number 1 did not always work well. Some switches gave a short circuit, one time the lights worked, the other time not. Maybe the humidity had something to do with it too?Mirella at the reception is a rude lady who felt personally attacked and went to justify herself. Which was funny on the one hand but very inappropriate and amateurish. At first she didn't even want to give the contact details of her superior. Through another channel I did manage to receive it.The manager, Tias Rvas, was also of no use as she was hiding behind the policy of the hotel. Her solution was to give us European tourists a voucher within a month. As if we would return so soon. A false solution in other words. To end on a positive note, the restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The hotel is a gem in photographs, good for on instagram. Hence, it is nice to have a drink there but that's about it.Best regards
Alonso del Carpio: Its luxury facilities show the typical architecture of the white city, with elements such as ashlar, stone floors, wood and iron details and furniture...a cozy atmosphere, highly recommended for a romantic dinner. Its menu is somewhat reduced but its flavor is exquisite and its presentation is very good, its prices for drinks are somewhat high, but they taste good, and with quality ingredients. The attention is very good, you will feel that they enjoy helping you with whatever you need, be encouraged to visit it.Safety: La puerta está normalmente cerrada y la calle no es muy segura por el tráfico y la ubicación, deberían tener la puerta abierta o el vigilante debería estar fuera para tranquilidad de quienes llegan al hotel.

Daniel Moscoso Huerta: Excellent service, rich breakfast, the price is not comfortable but if you know what you're worth, this 4-star is for you
Marilu Tupayachi: It's a really nice hotel to relax. It's calm and silence. We really appreciate that and if you are lucky you could see a nice cat walking around lol. The service is good. We had some problems with our room multiple times but they solved it. You have to pay and extra fee to use the installations like the pool, jacuzzi and sauna for 1 hour and the price is per person. Don't remember how much.
Anne LS: I cannot express how much I loved La Hostería! This hotel has such charm you cannot but feel like you are staying somewhere really special. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds. Breakfast is copious and delicious. Staff was super helpful and friendly, there is even an adorable cat! The place is old but being renovated so yes, it’s not perfect and needs a bit of refurbishing but they are working very hard on it and I am sure will make it perfect. I didn’t try the sauna but would have loved to as it looked amazing. There is a beautiful garden with flowers that smell lovely when you get out in the morning. There is also a little terrace from where you have nice views of the city. Just go and see for yourself! Thank you to the staff of La Hostería for having us.
Neli Edreva: На централно място, срещу манастира св.Каталина. Стаите са комфортни, но в някои от тях ваната е в стаята, което не много практично.
Florencio Sanz Gonzalez: A nice hotel, in the heart of Arequipa.A charming hotel, recommended. It has three floors and many nooks and crannies, it does not have an elevator, so it would be good for people with reduced capacity to book on the ground floor.
Elisa Melo: Still dreaming about the beautiful courtyard at this place. The vibrant colours on the painted walls, plants and flowers is so stunning. The rooms are old-school but we slept fine and didn't have any noise issues. The crew at the front desk were lovely and accommodating. It's also very well located, a few blocks from the main square. I would return!
jbaldarrago: Near the plaza but still far enough away from the noise. Beautiful hotel. The spa is great if you have time. The rooms are still old school with an actual brass key and only tv cable available. Could be updated but still nice the way it is.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jonathan N: Beautiful hotel with a great breakfast. Activities, and service. Dan Witting: We spent one week in the Hotel with 2 kids. The hotel has a lot of charme and you feel like one of the old spanish houses. There is plenty of space to relax, read a book, work, play ping pong or billard. There are different types of room. The rooms are nice but like in many places in Peru, attention to details i missing. For example in our bathroom there was no air ventilation. The breakfast buffet was ok. But nothing special. The view on the mountains is outstanding. The staff is very friendly always helpful. We were there at a low season and the prices were reasonable.

alfredo amoros gutierrez Alpez: The price is not for the service, the rooms are very high for what it offers.
Anna Chang: Our room and experience at this hotel was amazing! We stayed in a beautiful room with a great view, cute courtyard, beautiful tub, and overall lovely space. There was ample storage for all our things, too.We were able to book massages last minute, which includes an hour in the baths. The pools/steam room were nice, but a bit cold, and the massages were great. Breakfast was also pretty good.Overall, a beautiful space we enjoyed thoroughly and conveniently located for everything we needed.
Adriana Zuñiga: Perfect spaces for photos

orlando martinez: The hotel is well located .but when i ask at the front desk what happened with the street in front of the hotel they told me is been destroyed by the city for 2 months already the dust and the holes make impossible to walk even the taxi left us one block away because there not road for cars. And they dont mention that issue when we reserved the place .

My suggestion would be that the family rooms should have a closet since one comes many days, therefore the changes of clothes that are brought are considerable.
